Position: Legal executive

1. Position Overview
The Legal Manager will act as a strategic business partner, responsible for overseeing all legal, contractual, and compliance matters within the company. This role ensures that LS ELECTRIC Vietnam operates in full compliance with Vietnamese laws, corporate policies, and global standards, while effectively managing legal risks in business operations.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Contract Management & Legal Advisory
– Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts (sales, procurement, …)
– Provide legal advice to internal stakeholders (Sales, Project, Procurement, HR, Finance).
– Ensure contracts align with company policies and minimize legal risks.
B. Corporate Governance & Compliance
– Ensure compliance with Vietnamese laws and regulations (labor law, commercial law, investment law, etc.).
– Develop and implement internal legal policies and compliance frameworks.
– Support internal audits and compliance reviews in alignment with HQ/global standards.
– Monitor regulatory changes and provide timely updates to management.
C. Risk Management
– Identify and assess legal risks in business operations, projects, and partnerships.
– Provide preventive legal strategies and mitigation plans.
– Handle disputes, claims, and legal issues with customers, partners, and authorities.
D. Project & Business Support
– Support legal aspects of project execution (bidding, contract negotiation, claims, variation orders).
– Work closely with Sales and Project teams to ensure legal alignment in project lifecycle.
– Support expansion of distribution networks, partnerships, and strategic agreements.
E. External Relations & Legal Representation
– Liaise with external law firms, government authorities, and regulatory bodies.
– Represent the company in legal matters when required.
F. Training & Legal Awareness
– Conduct internal legal training for employees (contract awareness, compliance, risk prevention).
– Promote a strong compliance culture across the organization.
3. Requirements
Education
– Bachelor’s degree in Law; master’s degree is a plus.
– A licensed lawyer is preferred.
Experience
– Minimum 7–10 years of legal experience, preferably in multinational companies or industrial/manufacturing environments.
– Strong experience in commercial contracts, project contracts and corporate compliance.
– Experience working with Korean or global companies is a strong advantage.
Skills & Competencies
– Strong legal drafting and contract negotiation skills.
– Solid understanding of Vietnamese legal system and international business practices.
– Strong business acumen and risk management mindset.
– Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
– Ability to work independently and handle complex legal issues.
Language: Fluent in English (mandatory), Korean is a strong advantage.
